I watched the Oscar last night, and hell yeah I’m so F*++ inspired by the lovely acceptance speeches from the winners. Ok let start!!

Oscars

1. Graham Moore

Graham Moore

Hey Graham Moore! It’s his first Oscar nominee for “the Best Adapted Screenplay” for his work on “The Imitation Game”. Well I loved his speech so much guys. I used to feel this way, just like him.

He stated: “In this brief time here, what I want to use it to do is to say this: When I was 16 years old, I tried to kill myself because I felt weird and I felt different and I felt like I did not belong,” Moore said. “And now, I’m standing here and I would like for this moment to be for that kid out there who feels like she’s weird or she’s different or she doesn’t fit in anywhere: Yes, you do. I promise you do. You do. Stay weird, stay different. And then, when it’s your turn and you are standing on this stage, please pass the same message to the next person who comes along.”

BTW, he is not gay! Though many assumed that Moore was gay because of his connection to Turing, at the Governor’s Ball after the ceremony, he told BuzzFeed News that “I’m not gay, but I’ve never talked publicly about depression before or any of that and that was so much of what the movie was about and it was one of the things that drew me to Alan Turing so much. I think we all feel like weirdos for different reasons. Alan had his share of them and I had my own and that’s what always moved me so much about his story.”

And when it came to his incredible speech, Moore admitted that he’d thought about it, but didn’t have every word planned out. “I am incredibly superstitious, so I had it loosely in my head,” “It’s the kind of thing that I’ve imagined since I was a teenager. It was weird to get on the stage and say the things that I’ve been imagining in the shower and in front of mirrors. I think everyone practices their Oscars acceptance speech with a shampoo bottle and I’ve done my fair share of them. It’s really surreal to be able to do it in real life.”

Well Good for u, cutie Graham, and thank for the speech. Oh I forget! Congratulation for ur incredible winning, handsome.

2. Patricia Arquette

Patricia Arquette, she won the Academy Award for “the Best Supporting Actress” for her role as a single mother in “Boyhood”. But…But… She won the whole Oscars with FEMINISM guys!! Yeah Mum!! U’re the best!

FEMINISM (N): the belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities and organized activity in support of women’s rights and interests base on the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes. (Oxford Dic)

Well, she stated “To every woman who gave birth to every tax payer and citizen of this nation, we have fought for everybody else’s equal rights. It’s our time to have wage equality once and for all, and equal rights for women in the United States of America.” She elaborated more “We don’t have equal rights for women in America and we don’t because the people who wrote the Constitution, it wasn’t intended for women,” she said. “The truth is, even if it sort of feels as if there are equal rights in America, right under the surface there are huge issues that are at play that really do affect women.”

As I may say, this is “The call for wage equality is particularly resonant in Hollywood now”! Yeah!! In the Oscars press room, Arquette did not agree. “I think we federal laws that are comprehensive,” she said when asked about Pascal’s comment. “We need to pass a constitutional admentment in the United States of America, so we can pass the ERA once and for all.”

Just want to remind y’all, the version of the Equal Rights Amendment, which would ensure gender equality under the Constitution, first came before Congress in 1923. Gender equality is still not guaranteed by the Constitution. Yike right?

say-what

Thank y’all for reading, and I’d like to give a big claps to these two amazing artists for giving out such an inspirational speech ever in history of Oscar 2015. Love y’all, god bless y’all.
